Who We Are Looking For

Reporting to the Director of E-Commerce, the individual we seek for this position is an experienced and self-driven Amazon Marketplace Operations Specialist, who has managed a large product assortment for an Amazon 3P seller. Your main goal will be to ensure that all aspects of our Amazon Marketplace program are optimized, and that our seller performance and seller ratings embody Amazon best practices.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensure the proper assortment of products is listed, with correct information
  • Monitor pricing and manage pricing rules across the assortments in the company’s marketplace pricing optimization tool to achieve business objectives
  • Partner cross-functionally to integrate Amazon marketplace strategy with overall corporate marketing efforts and business initiatives
  • Continuously oversee and optimize ASIN matching to maximize assortment size and listing accuracy
  • Prepare weekly and monthly business performance updates, identifying trends and assortment management opportunities
  • Ensure that new products are routinely scheduled for addition to the Amazon assortment and launched with correct ASIN matching
  • Monitor Amazon customer service performance metrics and partner with Customer Service team to ensure the company maintains
  • Ensure that pricing guidelines are met across the assortment
  • Expand the Amazon assortment to identify new business development opportunities
  • Ensure that the company’s listings are also optimized on Amazon Business including bulk pricing opportunities
  • Maintain company profile and policies in Seller Central and adjust accordingly based on internal company policy changes and updates
  • Monitor, respond, and react to Amazon “Shipping Performance” and “Policy Compliance” metrics in a timely manner
  • Monitor orders for potential problem SKU’s and work with Customer Service and Operations to mitigate potential fulfillment, ASIN mismatch and/or inaccurate product description issues
  • Assist in creating and implementing A+ content for product listing pages.

Experience/Skills

  • BS/BA degree in Marketing, Merchandising, Business or related field
  • 2 years’ experience managing a large SKU Amazon assortment and deep understanding of the Amazon 3P seller environment
  • Strongly numerate and comfortable manipulating large data sets
  • Good communicator, comfortable with showing what data means and how we can take action
  • Commitment to “doing it right” and delivering first class work every time
  • Diligence and attention to detail
  • Ability to effectively prioritize work in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with Shopify a plus
  • Experience with Brightpearl a plus
