Company Summary

MoneyThumb is a financial conversion tool that services Accountants, Bookkeepers, and Lenders by converting the bank statements they receive in pdf format into all Accounting Software packages and also into a powerful lending scorecard. Our software simplifies a process that has historically taken hours down to just a few minutes. We have built an impressive clientele list over the past 4 years with over 15k customers. We have recently expanded our product offering to include sophisticated APIs and Apps on the Salesforce Exchange.

Position Summary

Responsible for increasing the MoneyThumb client base and revenue by identifying and qualifying prospective new clients. This will involve calling on a combination of warm and cold prospects in an effort to generate qualified leads. The role will be to conduct the opening discussion and sales demo for Lenders and Accountants and subsequently close the sale. The successful candidate should have experience working in a metrics-based sales environment and be motivated to meet and exceed quotas.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Client Development

  • Contact potential new leads via telephone and email;
  • Conduct opening discussions to ascertain suitability for our services;
  • Follow up on leads;
  • Conduct research to identify prospective clients;
  • Identify key influencers within lead prospects and determine the decision-making timeline;
  • Communicate value proposition to prospects;
  • Ability to overcome objections with relevant rebuttals;
  • Build and cultivate prospect relationships by initiating communication and conducting follow-up calls to move leads into sales funnel;
  • Conduct needs analysis to determine prospect pain points and solutions; and
  • Manage a sales pipeline to consistently meet and exceed quotas.

Administration

  • Create and maintain prospective client profiles in CRM and/or Salesforce; and
  • Perform other duties as assigned based on business need.

Key Skills Set

  • Polished written and verbal communication skills;
  • Strong lead development skills;
  • Proven ability to meet and/or exceed activity quotas;
  • Proven ability to prospect and close business with C-Level prospects;
  • Well-developed organization and time management skills;
  • Strong focus on detail-orientation, follow-through, and accuracy;
  • Ability to learn to use new software programs quickly;
  • Team player;
  • Working knowledge of and commitment to Company goals, philosophies, and standards; and
  • Proven ability to be effective and thrive in a fast-growth, changing environment.

Equipment and Applications

  • Experience with Salesforce or related CRM preferred;
  • Proficiency with internet browsers and internet research;
  • Proficiency using MS Office;

Education

  • High school diploma required;
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred

Work Experience

  • Two (4) to four (8) years of experience in sales or business development;
  • Experience working in Fintech a plus;
  • Experience selling SaaS offering a big plus;
  • Finance and/ or Lending experience preferred
