Now Hiring: Remote Marketing and Business Development Manager
We are building a global startup ecosystem map and research center used by hundreds of thousands of entrepreneurs and other stakeholders making decisions about investment and relocation. Our business model is geared towards deploying technologies, research, and policy advising to help governments create better startup ecosystems that impact their economy. Among our clients and partners are dozens of governments, and international organizations such as the United Nations and The World Bank.
We are looking for a passionate person who loves startups (previous experience in business development is a bonus but not a must), and the concept of a startup ecosystem to help us nurture our relationship with governments and other potential clients, and also take charge of our marketing activities.
We are at the cutting edge of an exciting trend of startup ecosystem growth and research, and whoever joins us will become a global expert in the field.
Currently, our team has 5 people (mostly in Europe) who work full time. Important- since we want to build a strong and connected team, this is a full-time job in Europe’s time zone business hours. You will be working with the CEO of the company, and the other management team, including daily briefing calls, calls with potential clients, discovery calls with governments, and setting up and executing our social media and newsletter strategy among other responsibilities. We will pass over all the necessary information for you to have a successful onboarding. We hope for a candidate who can start working full time effective immediately.
Our team uses zoom for calls, telegram for chats, notion for procedures, and a few other tools to organize everything. We are looking for a candidate who will stay with us in the long term and become a pivotal part of the company’s success.

The specific skills for this role include the ability to write marketing materials (native English level is a must), execute marketing plans, nurture relationships with a potential client, CRM work (HubSpot), and launching experimental products for the company to test.
The most important aspects for us are motivation and genuine curiosity about startup ecosystems growth. Experience is a bonus, but it doesn’t have to be directly linked to the exact subject matter of the startup ecosystem, as long as it connects with entrepreneurship and startups.
There will be a paid test and a series of interviews so you can get to know our team in the process.
The payment will start from $2,200 and will grow as the company grows in the short term. This contract includes 26 days a year of paid vacation.
