About This Role

We are currently looking for a dedicated and driven sales person to support us in our outreach strategies and growth activities into the UK, USA, Canada, and Australia, among others. We are therefore hiring a Sales & Business Development Associate to join our team. If this is you, we can’t wait to hear from you! You will leverage your excellent relationship-building and organizational skills to run our sales process. Specific to your role, we’re looking for individuals who have…

  • You have a proven track record and experience with sales & customer acquisition, specifically in a B2B or agency environment.
  • You have outstanding communication skills in English
  • You’re outgoing and social; a “people person” who is energized by meeting business owners or marketing professionals to learn about their needs
  • You’re interested in getting to know the ins and outs of Sales & Business Development at a growing tech-enabled startup and set the foundations for a successful career in sales
  • Your academic career reflects your hard-working attitude

Other qualities we are looking for include:

  • Experience in lead prospecting and email marketing is a plus
  • Experience in cold calling and outbound sales communication is a plus
  • Ability to communicate our vision and value proposition in persuasive terms

Key Objectives and Responsibilities

As a growing startup, our roles are always evolving and you’ll get to experience a little bit of everything. However, we want you to know exactly what you’re walking into. In the first 90-days, here is a preview of what’s expected:

  • Research potential companies that would benefit from our service and create a target list
  • Do the proactive outreach via email, social media, and telephone (cold calling), utilize new way to engage with prospects (for example, record a Loom video and send it for more engagement)
  • Support marketing campaigns to existing clients and established lead base
  • Following up with every prospective client in a timely and professional manner.
  • Help generate new lead generating systems and processes
  • Sourcing new sales opportunities and executing the demo calls or setting the appointment with one of the founders
  • Do thorough discovery to understand the needs of prospects and qualify all leads to make sure they are a good fit
  • Maintain your pipeline and expand your database of prospects
  • Help us build out the sales funnel and execute all aspects of it

Job Details

  • Compensation: Base Salary + Commission-based for new sales generated as a result of your efforts
