Our People Department covers all things ‘people related’ for the Studio, from hiring, to onboarding, to developing talent. Our mission is to help foster the best environment, so the best developers can do their best work. Recruiting is a critical function within the People Department, and one which will be the driving force behind us reaching our company goals over the next 5 years. 

We are seeking an exceptional full cycle Senior Recruiter, and not just one who can fill roles with amazing talent, but one who can streamline, and level up our processes, while fostering deep, collaborative relationships with stakeholders - you are not just an execution function, you are a trusted partner to Hiring Managers, both advising on the strategic, and rolling up your sleeves to deliver on the tactical. We are open to considering exceptional Recruiters from both Technical and Creative backgrounds, and can organize our team accordingly to enable you to play to your strengths. What you'll do:

  • Drive Recruiting efforts for the Departments you support, working with HMs to build sourcing strategies, designing a methodical approach to mapping out talent across the industry. As a fully remote company, a rare opportunity to apply a truly global mindset to your efforts 

  • Manage candidate processes from initial outreach to offer, ensuring a stellar candidate experience throughout, while juggling a large volume of candidates across different time zones, multiples roles, and comfortable with all levels, from Executive to Junior

  • Conduct all initial interviews, acting as an ambassador for SEMC, while assessing candidates in terms of alignment with our values and way of working, as well as suitability for a given role 

  • A problem solving mindset, with a bias for action, ensuring our Recruiting processes are set up for scale, tweaking or overhauling them as needed. 

  • Be a champion for recruiting internally, representing the team at a company level, providing relevant, data informed insights to Execs, and employees alike

  • Comfortable to train individuals and teams around our processes, be it Interviewer Training, or how to use our ATS

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 8+ years experience in Recruiting and a passion for the gaming industry, with a proven track record building multi disciplinary teams

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present ideas in a concise and goal oriented manner 

  • A curious and growth mindset, allowing you to seek out information and craft solutions 

  • A proven track record of being an exceptional collaborator, being able to partner with People Department peers, Hiring Managers, and Studio Leadership 

  • Capable of thriving in a highly autonomous environment, building processes from scratch, as well as improving those that already exist. 

  • An ability to context switch from very tactical items, to more strategic process advisory 

  • Empathy is one of your superpowers, being able to look at things from multiple perspectives, from different departmental standpoints, and from cultures around the world  

  • A strong technical aptitude, being able to unlock the power of new tools and our internal systems 

Bonus points for: 

  • A love of games will be helpful to understand the industry, connect with candidates and team members. 

  • Experience operating at a small to mid sized studio, confident developing effective processes based on companies scale and maturity 

The base annual salary range for this position in the United States is $70,000 to 135,000. The base salary is just one part of the overall compensation package. SEMC also offers a package of benefits, including, healthcare coverage, unlimited PTO, a remote work environment, flex working schedule, parental leave support, 100% 401k match on the first 3% of your contribution, and paid local hangout meals and events. This base pay range is for the United States only and does not apply to international locations. The range for each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by location and additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
