About the position:

We are actively seeking an adept Accounting Manager to spearhead our financial operations with a focus on achieving tangible results and driving organizational excellence.

Your day might look like:

Operational Excellence: Manage and elevate day-to-day accounting activities including: journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, sales/use tax preperation and payroll accounting, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

Strategic Financial Insight: Generate actionable insights through meticulous financial analyses and reports, aiding in strategic decision-making processes.

Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure adherence to relevant accounting standards and regulations, proactively resolving audit findings, account discrepancies, and compliance issues.

Process Optimization: Contribute to the enhancement of accounting systems, programs, and procedures, fostering continuous improvement in operational efficiency.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Liaise effectively with internal and external auditors and other stakeholders, maintaining productive relationships and facilitating transparent communication.

Policy Development and Implementation: Establish and uphold robust accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to mitigate risks and ensure financial integrity.

Leadership and Team Development: Direct and mentor the accounting team, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment while driving personal and professional growth initiatives.

Customer-Centric Approach: Cultivate a center of excellence focused on delivering exceptional service to both internal and external stakeholders, aligning with organizational goals and priorities.

What you'll bring:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; Master's degree or CPA certification preferred.
5-7 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance, ideally within the IT professional services sector.
Profound knowledge of accounting principles, with a demonstrated ability to apply them effectively in complex scenarios.
Track record of leadership and team development, coupled with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical prowess with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
Proven adaptability in fast-paced environments, exhibiting proactive problem-solving abilities.
Self-motivated individual capable of working autonomously and collaboratively within a team setting.
Prioritization skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
Hands-on approach with a history of success in team-based environments.
