Account Executive

Hi, I’m Neil McLean, co-founder of Navattic.

We’ve been extremely fortunate to see strong market interest in Navattic. In 2023 alone, we’ve exceeded quota every quarter, grown to hundreds of customers and partnered with top names in the SaaS space including Apollo, Gusto, Twilio and Dropbox. To keep pace with rising demand, we’re excited to open up an Account Executive role to continue executing on this strong market opportunity.

As an Account Executive, you'll work closely with our Head of Sales, Ben Pearson, to get up to speed. He was our first hire at Navattic, built our GTM motion from scratch, and has deep experience with the pain points Navattic solves.

This is a full-time, paid position. We're a remote-first team but around half of the team is based in NYC, where we routinely WeWork in-person. Either option is totally acceptable! We also hold semi-annual offsites in fun locations like Austin and San Diego.

What we're building

At Navattic, we’re on a mission to enable all teams to achieve product-led growth. In the consumer world, it’s the expectation that you can try out services and software before buying. This is not the case in the B2B world and we’re on a mission to enable all teams to create “try before you buy” experiences.

Using Navattic’s no-code platform, teams can instantly create interactive product demos. This enables customers to share controlled, guided versions of their product with end-users, without requiring a login.

About this role

You’ll manage the full sales cycle from pipeline generation to closed-won. In this role, you'll primarily focus on new logo acquisition. Our emphasis is on your raw ability to excel in the areas listed below and your appetite for continuous growth & improvement:

  • You treat sales as a listening exercise. You share insights about the market, our product, industry trends, etc. back to the company.

  • You demonstrate mastery of clear communication. You ask questions with precision and can explain complex concepts in simple terms. You avoid business jargon.

  • You skillfully guide prospects through their entire buying process—engaging the right stakeholders at the right time to create consensus for a strategic technology decision.

  • You are not only excited about closing deals, but also crafting repeatable processes that will allow our go-to-market team to scale well in the future.

  • You love becoming a product and industry expert. You create ‘Ah ha!’ moments by tailoring your talk track and demos to address a prospect’s specific challenges.

  • Your peers describe you as detail-oriented. You obsess over sending crisp follow-up emails, on time. You take pride in internal operations, like real-time CRM updates.

  • You move fast. You leverage tools/technology to maximize your selling time. You are at home managing a pipeline of a dozen or more opportunities concurrently.

  3. Brief take-home task + mock discovery call

  4. Meeting with the additional members of the Navattic team
