Content Marketing Specialist

About you

You’re a Content Marketing Specialist, with a sense of humor and an eye for what sells. You excel at creating landing page copy, email sequences, social media posts, and creating a lead magnet. You get a thrill when you move a customer to take the next step in the funnel.

You understand how content plugs into the entire marketing puzzle. You’re a strategist–capable of seeing the marketing puzzle and rearranging the pieces. You understand CRMs, automation, and the customer journey. 

And, since we’re searching for our unicorn, you’re also capable of lightweight graphic design in Canva or Figma. You’re down to join a small team, where we all do a bit of everything and you’re expected to grow your skill set. We all wear a lot of hats–it’s what keeps things fun and interesting. 

About us

The business owner is a creative, entrepreneurial lawyer. He started a law firm, which grew. As that firm grew, he created an online course business to sell courses that satisfy legal requirements. He is now launching a registered agent business, Start in Wyoming, to help Europeans and digital nomads create and operate Wyoming LLCs that satisfy US banking requirements.

About the Role

You’re essentially head of all things content for a Holdco. You’ll create and drive content for our three separate business entities. To start, you’ll focus almost entirely on the registered agent business. As that business launches and grows, you’ll take on additional duties for the related businesses.

This is a good fit for someone who really, really likes to create and execute. Not only do you like to write your own copy, you recognize that in 2024, a compelling copy requires visuals, headers, and occasionally video. 

You’ll be supported by an operations person responsible for shipping your content and tying it into the websites and CRMs. You’ll be part of an extremely small team. You’ll get the chance to go from zero to one, with building the content strategy for a new product.

As you succeed, you can take on additional domains, whether that’s product development or marketing strategy.

Some Core Responsibilities will Be:

  • Creating & owning our content strategy

  • Content Execution

    • 4+ pieces of shorter-form content ready to publish per week

    • 1 longer form piece of content (lead magnet, research report, etc) per month

    • Optimize landing pages for business websites

    • Create and post on all social media channels

  • Email Marketing

    • Create an email marketing strategy for each business - set up the email lists, segmentation, sequences, monitor performance, create reports, optimize content, etc. 

  • CRM

    • Configure Hubspot, streamline processes and make sure all marketing pieces are flowing properly 

Our Ideal Candidate

  • 2-5 years of agency experience

  • Fluent English

  • Has strategy + execution experience

  • Able to take any topic and create compelling (and funny) content

  • High Attention to detail

  • Content Marketing experience across channels

  • Email Marketing Experience 

  • Graphic Design experience

  • SEO and keyword research
